Aladdin’s tale came to life in Budapest through real oriental rugs…

The following story tells a short but exciting journey. Once, in a distant land in the East, there lived a young boy. He felt fascinated by the figurative world around him, especially the world of oriental rugs.

He observed and admired them. Then he began to study their colours, patterns and materials. His family and relatives noticed his unusual interest. Still, they allowed him to immerse himself in this private world.

Many years later, the boy grew up. After an eventful journey abroad, he eventually arrived in Hungary.

And then something remarkable happened. He never abandoned his childhood dream. With his growing knowledge and experience, he tried to turn it into reality. He began collecting artistic oriental rugs, introducing them to others and preserving their condition. Finally, he also started distributing them.

The process was far from simple. Every decision required days or even weeks of careful thought and consideration…

He created a unique collection equal in prestige to luxury objects, paintings, gold pieces and antiques. The selection appealed to affluent customers seeking beauty and splendour. These rugs also became valuable and distinctive gifts.

From this point, the company’s story may seem simple. In reality, it was anything but simple.

Choosing the right location took time. So did developing the infrastructure and planning the distribution process. Legal, administrative, storage and transport matters also required careful organisation.

Today, after more than 20 successful years, the owner and director of Kabiri Carpet looks to the future with optimism. These two decades on Krisztina Boulevard prove the value of fair and reliable business practices. They also reflect the trust of customers and the credibility of Kabiri Carpet.

Obtaining trademark protection provided the final recognition. It crowned the successful work of a dedicated professional with a passion for beauty.

P.S. Even today, Jamal welcomes customers with modesty and elegance. His manner inspires confidence. He firmly believes that he fulfils a mission and gladly embraces this role of service.
